NEON / BRIGHT eyeshadow?
where online can i buy really neon bright eyeshadow???NEON / BRIGHT eyeshadow?
For real fluorescent makeup, your best bet is professional makeup. Kryolan makes a UV Dayglo product that's not a powder shadow, but is a moist cake product that you apply damp. It will glow under blacklight and just be really bright in regular light. If you google Kryolan UV Dayglo, you'll get several places to buy, including ebay and Alcone Company's website.NEON / BRIGHT eyeshadow?
urban decay makes really amazing eyeshadow, for best results use color with the eyeshadow primer potion, it will keep your makeup looking pristine throughout the day.
manic panic also has some good colors.
also this website looks like it has some cool products:

www.marykay.com/alina the way to get that look is by applying the eyeshadow just right i have a lot of makeup tips and would love to help you get the right look. E-mail me and i will let you in on some secrets to bring out your eyes. I'm a makeup artist and beauty consultant for mary kay..so don't be a stranger.. I also have a free virtual makeover on my website...
Loreal hip

Mac

for bright makeup I have found that the best brands are M.A.C and Urban Decay... they both have websites and you can purchase the products online! A great website to find more great eyeshadow shades is Sephora.com
Maccosmetics.com There neon brigh colors are classy, blend well with others, last longer from application and last longer usage wise too.

Max Factor
You can get it at Wal-Mart for pretty cheap. These shadows tend to work better that your standard drugstore brands such as Maybelline and CoverGirl, and they come in some really bright colors.
omg, URBAN DECAY.
search urban decay eyeshadow. they have badas* bright ones. i just bought the neon purple and wore it to a rave...haahaha and it stayed on all night! it actually came ina little eyeshadow pallette w/different colors and a mini eyelid primer that made it stay on all night.
they have sephora stores located in a lot of malls. just google it or something, your city.
try these.....(click the links)
Darla Makeup
loose powdered, HD makeup

*****-slap cosmetics
pigments, blush and eyeshadow
http://bitchslap-cosmetics.com/pigments2鈥?/a>
pallettes and paintwheels (for lots of crazy colors!)
http://bitchslap-cosmetics.com/palettes.鈥?/a>
If those dont work, some of the covergirl eye shadow has bright colors, so does max factor and MAC
Makeup Forever at Sephora has some CRAZY runway stuff
I use HIP - High Intensity Pigments by Loreal. They make a lot of bright colors that come in either small pots of color or in shade duo compacts.
maybelline and cover girl sell really pretty eyeshadows depending on what store you go to. you might find what you want from them. But if you dont, try beauty supply stores because you would be surprised at the colors you find at a cheap price at one of those stores.

Bright neon green eyeshadow?
I'm looking for a bright green eyeshadow that i can buy in the US (online or stores, it doesnt matter).. I'm trying to blend black and green to create something similar to the D-generation X colors (a surprise for my boyfriend :) but so far most I have found are too dull or just yellow/green.. any suggestions?Bright neon green eyeshadow?
Check out the Medusa's Make-up site. The have some really vibrant colors. Reeeeaaaaally vibrant.Bright neon green eyeshadow?
Last time I went to Sephora, Makeup Forever had some really bright eye shadows. Pop Beauty [also at Sephora] has some really nice shimmery bright greens.
Beauty.com/Drugstore.com had some but not neon bright eyeshadows, but they are worth a look.
NYX: Serengeti, Hippie-Chic and Perpetual, three color combo might to do the trick. Or the Chrome eyeshadow in Green or Keylime. Or Hot Green in their single eyeshadow containers.
I hope this helps.
I actually just bought some neon pink and also green eyeshadow. While the seller is not located in the US, you can order and have it shipped here. It's awesome eyeshadow. I had the same problems with all the greens I found either being too dull or muddy looking. Good luck!
I PROMISE THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT! MAC cosmetics is great for bright colors. the bright green colorsi have are overgrown, humid-its a little darker, and swimming. overgrown is really green and bright. swimming is green and sparkly they are cute!
urban decay has the brightest most vibrant shadows
you kind find them at most big department stores
plus Sephora and ULTA
Rimmel and Hot Topic. You can buy the Rimmel one at Meijer (Midwest) or Wal Mart.
covergirl has some
Try MAC
why do you need it? to scare your boyfriend away? whatever try walmart or sephora.com

try mac or urban decay :) or nyx

Neon eyeshadow!?
does anyone kno where to get neon eyeshadow?
thanx!
:]Neon eyeshadow!?
lancome- mac- they usually have the best
check them out onlineNeon eyeshadow!?
Hot Topic, definately and medusasmakeup.com
M.A.C. cosmetics has really great neon colors. Their eyeshadows usually run about $14. They stay on all day, and trust me i should know, i only use M.A.C. and have many neon eyshadows by them. ;)
You can get some awesome neon shadows at professional makeup places like this: http://www.theatricalmakeupsupplies.com/ They are usually much cheaper than department store brands and are super highly pigmented. Check in the city you live in for theatrical supplies and see if they carry professional make up like Ben Nye.
they sell high pigment eye shadows at hot topic
they're bright and they'll show up really well.
MAC is good for bright eyeshadows.
good luck (:
For true neon colors, skip the MAC (this coming from a serious MAC fan) and go straight to Kryolan colors. Most theatrical supply stores carry it - and it can also be ordered online from MANY shops. It's a super pigmented, professional quality eyemakeup that's on par with MAC makeup.
try claires or hot topic.
Hot topic is the best place to get it ... thats where i get all of my neon eye shadow
Sephora and MACs. That's where I get mine =]

Does Wal*Mart sell neon eyeshadow?
??Does Wal*Mart sell neon eyeshadow?
They might, especially around Halloween time.
Hot topic sells it.Does Wal*Mart sell neon eyeshadow?
I honestly have not seen any. The closest you will come to a neon eyeshadow at Walmart are those L'Oreal H.I.P eyeshadows. I bought 2 compacts before. They are round and come with two eyeshadows and there's a little compartment with a mirror and eyeshadow sponge applicator inside. The compact sets I bought are purple/yellow (a mustard yellow) and blue/turquoise. The colors look very pretty in the compacts and when you put them on, the colors are really bright and attention grabbing. However they aren't good quality because they don't last and they tend to crease and fade really quickly. They're fine if you're wearing them for a night out, but if you plan on wearing them all day then they might look bad due to the creasing and fading. I even applied them with a primer underneath and it didn't help. They're also a bit expensive. I believe they're around $9 for a compact. Many people love those eyeshadows, but I honestly don't due to the staying power. I think you're much better off buying NYX eyeshadows. Their quality is very similar to MAC's but they cost so much less. One MAC eyeshadow costs close to $20 while a NYX eyeshadow costs around $7. The only problem is not all Walmarts sell NYX. In my area the only stores that sell NYX are Rexall and PharmaPlus. As for the other companies, I have honestly not found anything that would be considered neon. They look bright in the compact but once you apply them they're very subtle. At Shopper's Drug Mart I bought a GOSH compact with three eyeshadows that looked *so* gorgeous. I thought they'd show up super bright and pretty. But once I put them on, I was so disappointed because they were the most crappiest eyeshadows I've ever tried in my whole life.
I dont see why they wouldnt.

Where can i get neon colored eyeshadow cheap?
Check CoverGirl out. They have neon green, and one called gold sizzle that is really bright. Both are in the Blast line, they have alot more than I listed.Where can i get neon colored eyeshadow cheap?
I'm going to agree with Erin, the Loreal Hip Pigments are amazing. That's about the cheapest you can go on quality eyeshadows. Especially for bright colored ones. It's good quality, and a lot of shadow comes in the little jar... so it lasts a long time. I still have the purple one that I bought back in 2007. =)Where can i get neon colored eyeshadow cheap?
I agree with L'Oreal HIP.
If you have a FAVORITE color and want to splurge, google LimeCrime makeup. It's a little pricey but WHOA the colors are stunning! Also, another splurge for a color or two you may adore is Make Up Forever shadows. They are neon. REALLY.
Check out L'Oreal HIP make-up, they have powder pure pigments (it comes in a little jar, sort of like mineral make-up %26amp; a little brush). They come in all neon colors %26amp; stay on for HOURS on end. Each color is about $10 but I know at CVS %26amp; Rite Aid they always have them for buy one get one free - also at Ulta.com which is an awesome make-up site.
Hope this helps :)

Try NYX Cosmetics. I've only seen them sold in ULTA Beauty Store. You can also purchase them online. They come in nearly every color imaginable. If you cannot locate NYX Cosmetics near you, you can always go with L'Oreal HiP products. The eyeshadows are very pigmented and a few of them are neon colors.
NYX - Trio Eyeshadows ($8.00)
http://www.nyxcosmetics.com/Main_Pages/P鈥?/a>
L'Oreal HiP - Duo Eyeshadows ($6.99)
These can be bought at any drug store. If you catch Walgreens on a good week, they have buy one, get one free sales on L'Oreal Products. I recommend waiting until there is a buy one get one free sale. That way, you get four colors for seven bucks. It's a good deal.

Stila do a Teal one has a mascara on one end and a liner on the other - it really stands out.
MAC have also brought out a great liquid liner 'Aqualine' - looks amazing on! (See site below).
Enjoy!
Zara has some good brightly coloured make up..im not sure about eyeleiners and eyeshadows but they have bright green and red mascara if thats any help..
Urban decay usually have those wild bright colours. Try them
Kinda Magic in middlesborugh. I've never been there myself but I know they sell them. My friend has every colour undersun.
Try M.A.C. they carry a wide variety of colors for make up. I THINK they have M.A.C. in UK.....
Hi there, why not try www.avon.com there is a lot of make-up there. best of luck! x
www.pout.co.uk
I'd find a shop that sells theatrical or photographic makeup - the colours they use are extra bright with high pigment content to combat the bleeching effect of the lights. Try dance, theatre supplies and fancy dress shops. Also shops that taylor for stage drag queens tend to supply bright and outrageous colours. Look at www.grimas.com for examples ;)
Avon have some bright colours, or try a stage makeup shop like this http://www.backstageshop.co.uk/acatalog/鈥?/a>
fancy dress shops, joke shops, and (i think) superdrug!
Body Shop has really good ';eye shimmers';, you can apply it over black liquid/pencil eye liner and it creates a wicked metallic effect...as for red eye shadow, I once used a red blusher on my eyelids and it looked good.
here found 1 lol

Surprisingly, Walmart has quite a few good color palletes. But if you want professional quality stuff go to MAC or ULTA. They have amazing makeupWhere can I get neon eyeshadow (not online)?
i would try the drug store or walmart, unless you are looking for much more expensive, higher brands of makeup like MAC or whatever (you can get these at specialty makeup stores or at the mall in department stores). not all neon colors are going to compliment your skin, so buy a variety and just start playing around. i recommend the l'oreal HIP brand of eyeshadows as they are highly pigmented and some of them are very bright. plus, they aren't too expensive which is always nice for a little experimentation :)
kiki isnt the person i'd be wanting to look like....but MAC has some great colors and there are some sites (i know you said not online) you are missing out on.

also try AVON it's a catalogue company, but they have alot.
Try Hot Topic. They have some cool selections.

Good Neon Eyeshadow and Where to Buy??
I really want some hot! pink eyeshadow and some baby blue eyeshadow. Please tell me where i could get some! thanks!!Good Neon Eyeshadow and Where to Buy??
Medusa's make-up is the best! I use it all the time. They have pretty much every color in the color spectrum. Plus, it's relatively cheap and they give you a good amount. I recommend their eye dust. It's mineral eye shadow, so it's really vibrant.
http://www.medusasmakeup.comGood Neon Eyeshadow and Where to Buy??
MAC has really bright eyeshadows because their make-up is considered dramatic, stage make-up. However I have personally never tried their make-up but I have seen photos of people who have and their make-up seemed pretty bright. I always felt bad paying so much for make-up. I'd rather buy a bunch of different colours and experiment with them all and layer the shadow to create a deeper colour. There is a new eyeshadow called 'Loreal HIP Bright Shadow Duo'. You can buy it anywhere such as Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart for about $8 or $9. There are two brightly coloured eyeshadows in it. I bought both the purple/yellow combination and the turquoise/blue combination. They look pretty bright, but I have not tried them yet. When I do I will edit my post and tell you what I think of them.
MAC has some really good colors. I'm not sure if they have the colors you are looking for but you can find MAC at Dillards and here is the link for MAC so you can see because there are different hot pinks and baby blues and you can look on the website and see before you buy.

Hope this helped good luck =D
MAC and HIP are good....for cheaper versions...
But if you want a good quality shadow, in funky colors... use Sephora.
You can order online, and use your JCpenny's card too if you don't have another credit card.
MAC has the best (:

Bright almost neon eyeshadow?
where can i get some? are there any good brands?Bright almost neon eyeshadow?
They have very pigmented eye shadows at mac. I also like corral scents. mac is about 14.50 an eye shadow, not all of them are neon but you can find some very bright ones in it. Corral scents is also very pigmented, i have the 88 shimmer pallet i think it's 25 dollars and it comes with 88 eye shadows. Not all are neon but there are a lot of bright neon colors in it. Also urban decay has some fun funky colors.

Would neon yellow eyeshadow suit me?
I have dark brown hair and hazel eyes. Hopefully you can see my avatar picture.Would neon yellow eyeshadow suit me?
Neon yellow would proabably not suit you very well, although it is hard to see your avatar picture. Since you said you have pale skin, the neon yellow might make your skin look very washed out. It also might distract away from your actual eyes to above your eyes, which you dont want. Eyeshadow is supposed to make your eyes look good or even make them pop but it isnt supposed to be a distraction away from your eyes. If you like bright colors, a bright green would suit you well. Also, other colors that would be good on you are brown, purple, turquoise, any bronze and perhaps a smokey eye. I like to experiment with makeup, so just see what would look good on you. O, and makeup is supposed to complimet your outfit and I dont know of many outfits that would be complimented by neon yellow...Would neon yellow eyeshadow suit me?
Honestly, I don't think neon yellow would suit anyone. Why not consider a bronze or golden color - not so crazy, and more subtle?
*** yeh. thatd b sexy ; )
honestly im sure why they even make yellow eye shadow it really doesnt look good on anyone, i have brown hair and hazel eyes stay away from yellows and oranges.
i think black girls look stunning in that shade eyeshadow, but i think it looks bad on white girls.
no, yellow is for a dark complextion or really tanned. I have pale skin (Irish) - I would recommend soft colors. purples work great with green eyes (i have green) but with brown hair try bieges. stick with the warm colors.
I think if you were blonde it wouldn't look great but I think try it! Be daring, I think it will suit you, go into the shop and try a bit of the tester on, see if you like it xx
I think only dark skinned people suit this shade, but that is a personal opinion.
i dont see why not! u have just got two be carefull not to put to much on.
I don't know about Neon yellow but i wear yellow eye shadow and i get complimented all the time on it...BUT...i have got a Mediterranean complexion :/ I am not sure how it would suit you...but there is no harm in trying!!Why don't you buy some yellow or gold eyeshadow...apply a little water to a fine brush and dip it in the eyeshadow.Next, do a single stroke over the eyelashes(Like you were applying liquid eyeliner). That way it will not be too 'in your face' and you can tone it down a bit.I am dark and even i would not smother such a strong colour all over my eyelid lol.It would look weird!Good luck!!xx
I sometimes wear a fine, subtle line of yellow or gold over my blue eyes and it makes them look bluer. I only wear a little though as I'm pale and people with darker skins can carry off bolder colours. I think colours like bright blues and greens may be more flattering for your eye colour better- Urban Decay do some very good shades.
if you feel good about the colour then go for it. If it gives you more confidence you will look more attractive.
no it would drain your coulor
i dont think neon yellow eyeshadow suits anyone
no sorry, it is mainly for darker complections as mentioned, try a gold or go for blue, green, or purple, still bright and will look better than yellow.
i think bright colors generally look best on someone a bit dark-complected...but, hey, try it out!!! it might look great!!!view myspace

Where can I find neon rainbow colors for eyeshadow?
Like bright yellow orange blue purple pink green, and eyeshadow sticks too anyone know please let me know thanks!!Where can I find neon rainbow colors for eyeshadow?
It depends on how much you want to spend. MAC has tons of color varieties to chose from. Yet, if you're planning to buy multiple colors from MAC, it can get quite pricey. MAC also has eyeshadow sticks (Shadesticks) but they don't come in too many colors and are neutral or black. NYX has decent eyeshadows for cheaper, though they aren't as good of quality as MAC's. If you have a good primer or base, they'll work fine. They also have jumbo pencils that are similar to MAC Shadesticks, but they come in more colors. They aren't an eyeshadow though, but you can use them as a colored base for the eyeshadow, which will make the eyeshadow more vibrant.

MAC has heaps of colours, pretty much every colour you could want in eye shadow. If you want a whole lot, Becca has brought out this limited edition eyeshadow palette with many different colours in a rainbow sort of variety. I couldn't find it on the internet which was weird but they had it at a Becca counter when I asked about it after seeing it featured in a magazine.
coastalscents.com has some great palettes. they have a variety of palettes that contain a lot of bright colors which you mentioned. theyre palettes are relatively cheap and you get a whole bunch of colors. this is also good cause you might not use these bright shadows on a daily basis (well at least for me) so this is a good way to save money instead of buying single shadows that you might not use as often.
Ummmm...try that new makeup eye shadow stuff....uhhh....I think it's called Max or Mac,something like that,it's fairly new makeup and it used ta be on TV and in magazines everywhere! Ya can find it at normal stores like hot topic and wal mart, etc.
I work in a shop in London we sell those and tons of other neon stuff, I totally love it!
MAC has a lot of variety but if u want something cheaper Max Factor has some hot colors too.

Neon eyeshadow for blue eyes?
I have blue-grey eyes. What neon color would go with them?Neon eyeshadow for blue eyes?
Good question! neon may not be your best choice - but if you're willing to give it a try - lets do blues. Try that in a smoky eye too. videojug.com will help you a lot with tips also.Neon eyeshadow for blue eyes?
Purple.
Just please dont use blue, as it takes away from the eye, and makes it look dull
I wear purple with my eyes.
And my eyes are exactly like yours
maybee a blue. its mite bring out your eye color better t make them stand out ...
im not sure i would use 'neon' but im pretty sure blue will work
Orange enhances blue eyes. Try that.
Neon?? sounds a bit dramatic. Would go for something more subtle.

MAC. My neon favorites are: Bitter (sort of a pea green), Chrome Yellow, Orange, Jewel Blue, and Passionate. I combine these to create new colors too. I wear Bitter on my inner lid a lot and Orange on the outside and it looks great!
Actual neon makeup (the kind that reacts with blacklights) can be found on ebay...the best brand is Kryolan. They make aqua palettes that can be used both dry and wet, and are completely uv reactive....M.A.C. shadows won't do this....view myspace

there hard to find in walmart and stuff but these more expensive ones are great and some of them arent that badly price , i live in buffulo near ontario ,
just do a web search for these compinies and search around also try avon , good luck
Hottopic. I'm sure y'all have Hottopic right?
They make aqua palettes that can be used both dry and wet, and are completely uv reactive....M.A.C. shadows won't do this....
What place has the best neon eyeshadow?
I want neon eyeshadow that's less expensive then MAC, but better quality then hot topic's.

'GOSH' (:
Try some of the shades with L'Oreal High Intensity Pigments (the HIP line). I'm a fan of their Moxie color lipstick and always look at their eyeshadows too.
you should check out regular drug stores,
like walgreens, target and walmart have a lot
of different varieties of different palettes.
or in the mall like at the l'oreal stands, you just
have to look around ;]
hope that helpd.
i use hot topic's eyeliner but i do mix like 3 shades of pinks by covergirl and maybelline.
check out online like.....

I was in Walmart the other day and I believe Max Factor had some neon colors that are really pretty. I think they came in trios.
GOSH cosmetics have pretty vibrant colours and they have neon colour products
they arent too expensive, probably averagely price

there is a fantastic seller on ebay named Amy Doan and her colors are really bright and bold. The great thing is, she shows each color on herself so you see exactly what you're getting! Check her out!

Neon Eyeshadow?
Do you know any place that i can get neon eyeshadow like pink, green, purple, yellow, ect. And i don't want it to be really expencive. ThanksNeon Eyeshadow?
I got mine at walmart. you can either use the Loreal HIP or, Max Factor has three different colors in one uh square.
Hint:: dampen the brush a little, will make color even brighter.Neon Eyeshadow?
I use the brand NYX. They have really bright, neon colours and are only a few bucks. They should probably be in most drug stores.
A store called ';Hot Topic';
if you dont know what that is, just check your local mall
Its like a Goth/Scene store
Just ask for the eyeshadow section, they have every color of the rainbow there ^^.

You can get H.I.P by L'oreal ((I think it's made by them)) and its high pigment and they have some really outrageous bright colors. You can get them anywhere basically like Wal Mart or Target or probably any drug store.
Well, I'm a makeup artist and as far as Neon goes, Makeup Forever has a great choice of bright colors. NYX, at any drugstores is also really good. MAC is one of the best. They are a little more expensive but, they will last you a long time due to the high pigmentation in them.

What is the trick to repair a broken powder eyeshadow (or any powdered make-up)?
Standard Method:
* Soak the broken product in alcohol to make paste
* Smooth out with your finger wrapped in saran wrap, using only the tip, minimize contact. Paste will be dark.
At this point, you can simply allow to dry undisturbed for 2-3 days by air, or continue by doing the following:
* Bake in increments of 3 minutes in oven preheated to 200 degrees Fahrenheit (93 degree centigrade). Be sure to stabilize the pan of product on some foil whilst baking. Do NOT use a heat-conductive platform such as a cookie sheet.
* Watching non-stop, do this until paste just begins to lighten, signaling evaporation of alcohol. Any shortcuts or leaving the product alone for even a few minutes could result in over-heating and alteration in color.
* When lightening begins, remove from oven and let sit undisturbed at room temperature for 2 days. The product will be a little lumpy, but recovered.
Method #2:
* Collect all the broken product onto a piece of paper.
* Create a funnel with the paper and then pour the powder back into the pan.
* Using plastic wrap and your index finger, push all the powder back into the pan with medium force. Keep on pushing until the powder is flat.
Method #3:
* Arrange all of the broken pieces back into the pot, and lay a tissue over the pieces.
* Take the end of a bottle (the old-style MAC hyper real bottle caps worked perfectly for MAC and similarly sized shadows) and press over the tissue with the bottle or bottle cap.
* Remove the tissue, and the product will be perfectly pressed back into the pot and the surface will be as smooth.
Adding Hatch Marks:
This should be done just as the product is still damp but NOT pasty from repair with alcohol (you should be able to press on it with your fingers).
* Get a piece of wax paper over your shadow and firmly press down all over the e/s making sure it is set firmly and the surface is an even as possible.
* If you see cracks, lightly spray with alcohol and press again using your finger or wax paper.
* Take an old pair of coarse jeans and turn them inside out. (Levi's work well, as do any other thick heavily textured material)
* Carefully take one of the inside out legs and put it over the surface and press firmly all over.
* Voila! You have the pretty hatch mark you lost in breakage. If the imprint is not showing as much as you want, spray with alcohol and press again or press harder.
Making Your Broken Product Into a Loose Powder:
Instead of trying to stuff the broken product into the pan, you can just make it all into loose powder.
* Get a small mortar and pestle (available from kitchen stores) and put all of the product into it, scraping out the unbroken remnants if desired.
* Grind product as finely as possible.
* Put the loose powder in a small tin or tub, and apply using a brush.

Is there any way to put eyeshadow back together once its broken?
My eyeshadow palette has 3 colors in it and all of it broke into a bunch of pieces. I really don't want to waste it and I wanna see if there is anyway to seal back together so it finally stays put.Is there any way to put eyeshadow back together once its broken?
Well I had the same problem. What I did was I got an empty lip gloss jar and I crushed it up and now I use it as a loose shadow with a brush. It works great and I use it all the time. I like it better this way than the way it was before. You could also, just as a suggestion, make lip gloss out of it with Vaseline. You can find how to do that online. I heard that is a good way to salvage broken eyeshadow too.
Good luck!Is there any way to put eyeshadow back together once its broken?
no you cant put it back together but you cant mush it up so then it can be a powder eye shadow and you proble would want to use your finger to put it on
Nope! That sucks my big toe!! LOL
umm..no
well, it really depends what kind it is. but if it is powder, then put it back in its original case and just press it all together, trust me i have done it many times [ im so clumsy =P]
And if it is that cream stuff, then i dont think so :)
sorry if that didnt help... i tried =)
Yes! But it doesnt work with all makeup. If you get lucky it will work with yours. All you have to do is place it back together as well as you can and put a little but of water on top and massage it in, it should blend together then you let it dry and you can reuse it. If it doesnt work, dont crush it, you can still use it, it will just be more difficult and you CAN use a brush.

WOW that sounds horrible! I was praying that mine would reach me safely and it did. None of the colors were broken. If it says on the site from where you got the palette that they will give you a refund or a replacement then I would go for that. If not, well that sucks.

I dropped my expensive eyeshadow, it is broken in pieces. Is there away to fix or put the pieces back together?
I mistakenly dropped my expensive compact w eyeshadow and the eyeshows broke in half. Can i put the pieces back together? It is a wet/dry eyeshow. I am tempted to fix with water. Please help.I dropped my expensive eyeshadow, it is broken in pieces. Is there away to fix or put the pieces back together?
I hate when that happens!
I remove my foundations from the original packaging, and place the thin, magnetic tin into a pallette for easy carrying. But if I drop one, I could end up shattering 10 or so shadows at once! eep!
A really cool trick:
I use a small metal spatula, but any really flat, quarter inch wide tool will work. Drop a little rubbing alcohol into the pan.
Use a little rubbing alcohol at a time, so as to not make a runny mess, and with your spatula, swirl all the shadow crumbles, until all of it is liquified. Set aside in a safe, flat place, usually overnight, and when it dries, voila! Healed shadow.
This also works great for messy loose pwder shadows, or mixing and creating your own personal colors!

Basically, you just kind of crush it up a bit more inside the same pan.
Mix some rubbing alcohol with it, until it's kind of chunky/pasty.
Get a cloth, and a quarter (what ever fits the pan) and place the quarter inside the cloth, lay it ontop of the eyeshadow/alcohol mixture, and press!
Wait for it to dry overnight!

Step one: Use a clean mascara wand or Q-tip to gently scrape away any loose bits of shadow.
Step two: Place a Kleenex on top of the broken shadow, then use your index finger to press down on it. Use a series of small pressing motions rather than a few big ones.
Step three: Remove the Kleenex, and you should have an intact shadow once again. (I turned mine upside down and it stayed in one piece. Success!)
You can't fix it, but you can still use it. Just lightly rub the brush in the shadow, tap off the loose powder, then apply it.

I'm sure both (slightly similar) methods will do the trick but this one is shorter and more specific to your needs.

i would just wet an angle brush slightly and dip it into the shadow just when you want to use it as liner. thats what i do. if you added water to all of it at once it would just ruin the shadow no matter what you want to use it for. oh and i know most people say angle brushes are too stiff so what i do is kinda just dot it across my upper lashline because if you drag it it might be really uncomfortable.
what i do wen i run out of eyeliner i dip a fine paintbrush in water then swirl it into the powder to make it like a liquid eyeliner. i wouldnt recomend mixing it all up at the same time though, just wet the brush when you want it.

Is it a bad idea to share eye makeup? (Like eyeshadow?)?
I'm just curious if it will get you sick or anything? My sister wants to try my eyeshadow and I was wondering if that would be okay?Is it a bad idea to share eye makeup? (Like eyeshadow?)?
It'll be fine, but don't share eyeliners (especially if you put it in your waterline) if someone has or has had an eye infection or pink eye.Is it a bad idea to share eye makeup? (Like eyeshadow?)?
I can use everybody's make-up stuff....Especially 谋 like testing make up products, I like terters.
Some think it is bad, but I use...I am so healthy, I do not have bad experience...
I think the most important thing islearning to share something.Give permission to your sister...The important thing is if you do not give it to her, she will be dissapointed, it can be seen as a small thing but in life small things are so important.
Yes, Don't share your makeup with no one except for people in your family - like Ariana said, don't share eyeliners, I think even if it is family you should have separate eyeliners but for lip stuff, eyeshadow, and mascara...then you can share with your sister or mom. No strangers though. Even though its a different brush, she is still going to swish it in your eyeshadow multiple times.
It should be, but try and use seperate brushes
And mascara sharing is generally a no-no, although me and my friends sometimes do a really quick emergency mascara borrow
Unless one of you has conjuctivitus, it should be fine
But try not to do it like, every single day
And always avoid eyeliner sharing, especially waterline
However, when I lend MY sister eyeshadows, they always somehow become HER eyeshadows... D:%26lt;
The only way to keep from getting infections is to not share. Girls do this all the time so if you are willing to risk it go ahead. The other down side is that you may not be able to find your fav shadow because she has borrowed it. I am sure your sister wouldn't do that though.
im the same with my sister...
but idk dont share eyeliner,mascara.
you get stye's ...
eye shadow is okay but not to often.
no not at all

mix these colors until you get your shade :)
You might have a hard time finding that exact color because,
that picture was photoshopped so the color is more purple then what it really is [in real life].

Who can give me some cute idea's for eyeshadow?
I have my first date in a week and i want cute ideas HELP!!! NO WEBSITES PLEASE!!!!!Who can give me some cute idea's for eyeshadow?
if you are experienced in makeup try a smokey eye.
Blue Eyes wear: golds, browns, shimmery bronzes
Brown eyes: green and purple
Green eyes: purple (or orangey- reddish hues)
Hazel:purple, pinks
first off start with a pallet of colour schems. (you should have three in teh same colour family, one light one mid-tone and one darker). Start by applying the middle hue in your lid. Then, use the highlighting shade on the brow bone and the inner corners, then with the darker shade, hgihlight your crease and blend, finish with a swipe of eyeliner and mascaraWho can give me some cute idea's for eyeshadow?
do a smoky eye!
youll need a light grey, a darker grey, and a really dark grey or black!
start with the dark greey/black at the bottom of your lid closest to the lash line, and then fade into the medium then light
it always looks good on any person, and gives a just enough sexyness!!
good luck on your date!!
:)
get a light cream and cover your lid in it and get a light brown and smudge it over the outside corner of your lid, half way to the other corner, and then just a little bit of dark brown on the outside of the eye lid,

I have non creased eyes and i have no idea how i can apply eyeliner and eyeshadow to make it look great! help!?
read the title
great
now
i have no idea how i can apply eyeliner and eyeshadow
it would also really help if colors are recommended!!!
thx!I have non creased eyes and i have no idea how i can apply eyeliner and eyeshadow to make it look great! help!?
Apply eyeliner along the countour of your eye. You really do not need a crease to do this. Just apply a line directly behind the eyelashes as close to the base as possible. For shadow, create your own crease. Feel your eyelids for your eyeball underneath. About half way up is where your crease would lay, so you can use that as a rough guide. Apply darker colors from the lashes to the make shift crease, a medium color above up to the brow and a highlight color along the brow under the eyebrow and on the inner part of the eyelid. I have non creased eyes and i have no idea how i can apply eyeliner and eyeshadow to make it look great! help!?
do you mean, creaseless as in monolid asian eyes?
I have those too. I usually make a fold in them with eye glue, but if you don't want to, here's what i recommend.
eyeliner: mostly, you want to just apply a thicker line than usual, but smudge it out. apply above your lash line, and go over it with dark shadow to set it and smokey the look. you won't be able to see it in the mirror, but when you relax your eyes or look down, there it will be.
shadow: apply in a sideways ';v'; shape, closed end pointing outwards, on the outer corners of your eyes. this will elongate your eye and accentuate the natural shape of your eye. darker colors go on the outer corner, light ones on the inner to open up your eyes.
try using a white eyeliner on your waterline to open up your eyes, or, just dust a light eyeshadow over your inner corners and inner tearduct area to brighten up your eyes.
if you were just talking about crease as in socket line...............%26gt;.%26gt;;;;; sorry about all that.
(if you were really talking about a socket line, then you don't need to worry. liner and shadow can also be applied basically the same way as i described above. )
=) hope i helped.

Does anyone know if it would be a good idea to use a cream stick foundation as an eyeshadow base?
Your thoughts? Have you ever tried it? Do you think it would actually work? Thanks :) **hehe**Does anyone know if it would be a good idea to use a cream stick foundation as an eyeshadow base?

well idunno about ';fofundatyion'; but i mean i used UDPP and Too Faced Shadow Insurance...and the Too Faced is really good and when i ran out...i started using NYX concealer...that works just like Too Faced...try using a concealer stick
no.
you need whats called an eye concealer.
I'm guessing it wouldn't hurt. I would also suggest thinking about using the liquid eyeshadow or the kind that is just like cream with color.view myspace

what are your opinions? have you tried it? if so, what are the results? Is it a good idea to use concealer as an eyeshadow base?
as long as its an oil based concealer. This will act like a primer and help your eyeshadow stay on longer, and look bolder. It does work, but I do recommend getting a primer instead and saving your concealer for a blemish. Is it a good idea to use concealer as an eyeshadow base?
I'm a cosmetology student and work in a professional makeup store. And I think concealer tends to make the eyemakeup look a little cakey and it tends to crease more than it should when using a base. You should try an acutal eyeshadow primer. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Priming Potion is the best out there. It makes shadow stay on all day, plus it intensifies the color so you use less. You should check it out it works so much better
It's actually a good idea to use a concealer as a base for eyeshadow. It helps your shadow stick to your lids.... If your using a cream/liquid concealer, make sure you let it dry somewhat before you apply the shadow or else it will crease and no one likes creasing!!! Apply your shadow with a round tip brush and your ready to go!
Well, if you mean putting the cover up over your eyes before you apply eyeshadow, then yes i've tried it. I think it works. I put it on like I would the rest of my face. I don't know about the liquid kind. But I use the powdered and it works fine for me. :]
hmm i dont thiink so but u could try it
what i use concelaer as a base is on my my lips when i have a REALLY dark color its looks great underneath it
hope i helped!;)
when i put on foundation i go over my eyes to have a good clean base then i apply my light shimmer eye shadow over the top. it works great :) try it.
yeah the concealer will keep the eyeshadow from smudging.
i think it works
and sometimes i just use concealer for that matte look.
I think it is quite good. Its not like anything bad will happen. Make sure you set it with powder or allow it too dry before you put on eyeshadow.
no leave your eyelids alone no one looks at them anyway and if you are that self conscious then just dont blink. works for me.XD
ummm i dont think so but maybe try it...but u might wanna try using real concealer base its super sticky though goodluck
why not
usually if you just dont touch your eyes it stays fine
i honestly dont like it. It makes my eye shadow look oily-ish..

Girls, makeup ideas for St. Patricks?? I have temp. tatoos, green eyeshadow, glitter etc?? Read on?
So I have:
Small and medium 3 leaf clover tats (small is about 1cm round and maedium is about 2cm round)
Lots of different eyeshadows including a very bright green stargazer eyeshadow
Some liquid glitter white eyeliner
Some Irish flag tatoos (about 4cm long)
Tons of other makeup
I'm 18 so i'm looking for some fun ideas and ways of doing my makeup. I was thinking of scattering a few small clover tattoos around my eyes and doing bright green eyelids with glitter. Do you have any other ideas?
Cheers :)Girls, makeup ideas for St. Patricks?? I have temp. tatoos, green eyeshadow, glitter etc?? Read on?
How about a two tone sparkly look?
Start off with sweeping a light green across the lid.
Then blend a darker green into the inner corner of the socket.
Sweep a little of the light green into the darker green to help with the blending process.
Apply the light green into the inner corner of the bottom lashline and the darker green into the outer corner of the bottom lashline.
Apply a thin line of black liquid liner to the top lashline.
Apply the green glitter liner to the bottom lashline.
If you have any stick on gems, stick them on the inner corners of your eyes for added effect!
Stick a shamrock by the sides of your eyes :)
And there you have a fun glitzy St. Patricks day look!Girls, makeup ideas for St. Patricks?? I have temp. tatoos, green eyeshadow, glitter etc?? Read on?
well ignoring everything you said, you could check out this video for any ideas- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLycBIDge鈥?/a>

I also like MAC Espresso. It's a really nice matte brown. It mixes nicely with other colors and works as a liner as well.
When I'm looking for a specific shade I generally go to MAC first because they have such a huge range of choices.
mix it with a little water
No ideas, as brown is usuall made of a combination of red and green. Maybe if you picked one that had a little green in it, then in lights rich in red it would look browner?
Not sure at all.... just guessing here.
Try brown eyeliner and smudge it. It will give you all day coverage and won't look red because it's less iridescent than eye shadow.
I use Lancome products. ';Optic Sheen'; as a light base and the dark brown for the crease and lid is called ';Snap Shimmer';.
I got them as free samples a few years ago in one of those goodie bags they give away with a purchase. Loved it so much that I have been buying it ever since.
It's kinda pricey---but lasts such a long time. And since the color is so perfectly dark brown with no reddish undertones, ever....I buy it exclusively.
yes. Try the Body shop range. Looovely. they've all the various tones of bronze to brown in the shimmer cubes range.

Yellow it's quite a hard color to pull off no matter what hair shade you have. It's not impossible but it's quite tricky and you may not want to use the yellow shade alone but rather use it along some other color like brown or purple. It doesn't hurt to try. You can put it on and see if you like it.
I HAVE RED ORANGE HAIR TOO AND I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YELLOW BUT BLACK LOOKS GREAT ON RED HEADS.
well the only way to find out is to try it out... do it before you start school and ask your friends for their honest opinion
just put it on and see how it looks! What could it hurt?

A cardinal rule of fashionable makeup is ABSOLUTELY DO NOT match your eyeshadow to your outfit exactly. (The only exceptions to this rule are blacks and browns.) You would be so suprised how awesome a rich brown or coppery-colored eyeshadow would look. Do some experimenting in advance and have fun! Try what you might not expect to look good--you'll be pleasantly suprised. Good luck.I dont know what color of eyeshadow to wear for homecoming.....any ideas??
pink
Use a light purple color (these colors accentuate and brighten your eyes) as you work your way outward, put a light pink (try Covergirl Eye Enhancer in Pink Chiffon $3 drugstores) Then use a shimmery eyeliner.
Go to www.marykay.com and do a virtual makeover
Purple makes green eyes pop-red, too. But would look horrible with dark pink. Try neutal tones (dark green, browns, etc.) and glam it up.
go with pink eyeshadow then put like a silvery white on the top to the brow that would look good
Last year for prom my friend wore a dark pink and black silky dress. I helped her with her makeup and it looked so good.
Try a dark, rich color of pink in the crease and brown on your eyelid, and then a light, creme color under your eyebrow to highlight your eyes. Also try using brown eyeliner it makes green eyes stand out. dark pink looks good on any skin tone, and livens up your face.

either get green eyeliner or use an angled thin brush to use eyeshadow as eyeliner, use it on top, wing it out, and use the wing as the stem of a clover!
mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
you can try to make it dark at the bottem like where your eyelashes are and make it get lighter as you go up.
just smudge it all around ur eyes then go around with a q-tip for an even line, have fun!

Is it a good idea to use cream and powder eyeshadow at the same time?
I have 2 colours that will go really well togerth. Problem is one is a glittery powder (Barry M) and the other is a cream eyeshadow. Does anyone know if this will produce weird looking eye or will they mix during the night? Is it a good idea to use cream and powder eyeshadow at the same time?
It would look nice at 1st but after a while ... the cream eyeshadow will clump, it would not look very nice and clean... and it may look a little trampy after a while...
..Is it a good idea to use cream and powder eyeshadow at the same time?
Thanks :) Report Abuse
NO
Use either one or the other
Not both
I don't see anything wrong with it. I mean the cream will definitely stay longer, but if you put the powder on top of the cream, then you should be good. It will probably just make the color of the powder eyeshadow stay longer.
: )
Don't do it babe! Never a fan of cream eye shadow... Difficult to apply and tends to clump! Go for powder every time!
I think that the cream eyeshadow might begin to clump in the creases of your eyelid, and then maybe the powder eyeshadow would stick to it, creating an odd effect. However, I am not sure, so what I would do is try them on during the day one day when your just sitting around the house and see how it goes. If it looks good and stays that way all day, then you'll know its fine!

Ideas about an eyeshadow organizer type thingy?
I have a billion little eyeshadow ';pots'; and they are in my caboodle but I have to dig around just to find the color i want, ya know? I was wondering if there was something that i could buy to organize them, preferably by color, or do you have any ideas how i would make something like that? I kind of want to be able to like hang it on the wall or something next to my mirror so I can just grab them as needed. I was thinking like a hanging shoe organizer but smaller and with smaller pouches obviously :) i'm a bad explainer so any ideas would be awesome!!!!Ideas about an eyeshadow organizer type thingy?
Try a sewing kit holder,
because they come with little cubbies :)Ideas about an eyeshadow organizer type thingy?
You can youtube '; organize makeup'; and different girls will show you how they organize their makeup. They have neat tricks i've never seen before. They really help:)
Go to a store in their makeup department and ask the lady for help. She should give you really good information.

Do u really need brushes when applying your eyeshadow and what r some helpful websites that will give ideas?
It depends on the kind of look you want. The sponge-tip applicators will put a heavier layer of shadow on, I personally like brushes as it is easier to blend and you can layer the shadow to give you the amount of color you want.Do u really need brushes when applying your eyeshadow and what r some helpful websites that will give ideas?
Use brushes, applicators don't work that well. Plus they get caked up with eyeshadow %26amp; don't go on very well. Acutually I was reading about that on pureluxe.com where they gave tips on using eyeshadow brushes instead of applicators.Do u really need brushes when applying your eyeshadow and what r some helpful websites that will give ideas?
I like brushes for eyeshadow...but it took me a while to get used to the look. I use a Q-tip when I want a dark layer...works like a charm.
Sorry, I don't have a website to give you ideas. I did trial and error to figure out what works best for me.
any soft-tip applicator is the best thing for applying eyeshadow. i'm guessing you mean brushes instead of using your finger, which smudges and doesn't give you the even color all over.
i think it depends on the eye shadow that u r using.if it is dry then u can even use Q-tips and if it is creamy then u need a brush and u cant find some tips at google or yahoo and if you wanna see how to apply eye shadow then u can see a video at google or yahoo.
Applying a powder eyeshadow with any applicator causes the eyeshadow to fall in your eyes. Try using eyeshadow that comes in a stick or one that starts as a liquid and then dries. They last longer and don't irritate your eyes as much.
The best makeup brushes are also affordable and are called Paula's Choice. She also sells makeup that is very nice.
She is called the cosmetics cop because she tries and reviews all makeup lines. Try her handy search feature to check out how your favorite brands stack up!

Does anyone have any ideas of applying eyeliner, eyeshadow, or mascara. just makeup in general.?
Best way is to experiment.
The order of applying eye makeup is:
eye shadows - eyeliner - eye brows and last mascara.
Eye shadow would be a over all base then adding darks/lights to increase or decrease the size between the brows to lashes.
EX: If the area just under the brows are puffy and you would like a slimmer look, then add a darker shade lightly.
Try using the search with words like apply, video, eye shadows, make-up and I'll bet there will be a site somewhere with a video of different ways available.Does anyone have any ideas of applying eyeliner, eyeshadow, or mascara. just makeup in general.?
eyeliner-on the top, start in the middel of your eye and draw a smoothe line close to ur eyelashes to the crease of the outside of your eye. no matter what anyone says, dont put eyeliner on the inside of your eye on the bottom, your eye could get infected!!! also start in the middle on the bottom and draw to the outside of your eye as close as you can to the eyelashes with out touching the wet part.
mascara-dont glob on the mascara, just place the brush close to your eye and blink your eye on it.
eyeshadow-what ever color(s) you do start with darkest closest to your eye. then get lighter as you go up. eyeshadow is pretty easy to put on just dont do to much. you can always add more.
foundation-if your using a powder(which i suggest for first time users) us a large full brush. put it in the jar of powder, then tap it on the lid and swish it around in the lid and blend it all over your face. make sure its even too!!
blush-apply to the apples of your cheeks. smile in the mirror and the part that puffs up is where you should put it.
OTHER
if you have unruly eyebrows, get a clear mascara and it works like eyebrow gel.
liquid eyeliner looks good with a small line on the corner of your eye to make you look dramatic.
dont always go for crazy colors. but sometimes its ok to be spontanious :)
i hope this helped you!! :)Does anyone have any ideas of applying eyeliner, eyeshadow, or mascara. just makeup in general.?
...ok well, im not sure what ur asking exactly, but here are some makeup tips!
1. eyliner all the way around your eye makes the eye look smaller
2. gold and metalic eyeshadow is in style rite now
3. covergirl professional mascara is the best! no clumps and cheap (i use it!)
4. when applying blush, make a fish face to find your cheek bones
HOPE THIS HELPS!
okay. First, make sure you have the right colors for your face. Go to a makeup artist for that, don't pick out your first makeup yourself.
Once you have that, for eyeliner, depending on if it's gel, liquid or shadow then techniques vary. But my general rule is keep it thin and close to the lash line. To do this, I close the eye I'm working on and pull my eyelid taut. I very carefully and slowly draw a line on my top eyelid only (looks the most natural and best, in my opinion, but you can put it on the bottom too). Don't put it on the pink inside your eye, it'll fade faster, make eyes look smaller and can be harmful to eyes.
for eyeshadow, pick a neutral color to start w/ such as brown or metallic beige, etc. Get an eyeshadow brush and sweep it from lashline to crease. You can do more later on, but learn the basics first. For mascara, wiggle the brush horizontally at the base of your lashes and drag upwards. simple as that :]
well you need to be specific......do you not know how to apply them?view myspace

Any ideas of nice eyeshadow colors?
Natural earth colors work the best. Don't put gobs of it on though.Any ideas of nice eyeshadow colors?
i put four different colors on my eyes. a dark maroon just a thin line right aboce my top lashes then a golden color above that but not above theyeye brow bone. then above thar from the eye brow bone to the brow a light shade of gold. then to top it all off i rub it all together with powder foundation. find you four colors that work with your complection and do that.Any ideas of nice eyeshadow colors?
it depends on your eye color
-if theyre brown...use green
-if theyre light colored...use bright colors or dark shades like gray
Black is always sexy. But whites bring your eye color out more.
its depend on ur face color ,
Personally, I'm not a fan of eye shadow. If I use any, I like a little gold or something sparkly close to my lash line. I think it really depends on your eye color and the shape of your eye. Purple looks good on me - I have brown eyes.
!~ Turquoise or Magenta ~! (^_^)
It really depends on your color tone and what you are wearing. Basically you could get away with any color if you do it right!
Almay has a couple of great lines called ';Play Up'; and ';Bring Out.'; they're meant to enhance your natural eye color. and they're hypoallergenic, which is great! go the site, pick your eye color and print up a coupon to try them out!
Earthy tones are really nice. Like a brown or baise-can't spell that right, depending on your skin tones
today im wearing blue eyeshadow, with black eyeliner, my boyfriend said it looks nice. you should try that. (';,)
Hard to give a good opinion based just on your avatar but I would suggest going to a department store cosmetic counter and asking for some suggestions. MAC has some awesome makeup artists, Bobby Brown is ok if you want a more subtle look. Dior has the best colors but are a bit more pricey.
it depends on your skin color and your clothes,i love the blue and the black,it is sexy.
different shades of purples!
Try the Almay brand.......It has shades for brown, green, hazel, and blue eyes
hmmm.....i usually use black....but it depends on who r u.....light colors r nice....use both dark and light colors and see how u look w/ it....
Well it all depents what color you eyes are. I have blue eyes so all colors fo that is brown, blue, light green, light pink. If you have brown it can be all different colors just remember any color is cutie.
Natural colors will always work right. Different shades of browns, golds, beiges and sometimes yellow. You gotta experiment with different colors to see which suit both your skin and eyes.
lavender or robin's egg blue
several drugstore makeup brands make pallettes that suit ur eye color. for instance, if u have brown eyes, then the colors in the pallette r probly gonna be shades of green, 2 play up the brown. these r relatively cheap, about $3 each, and several brands make them, so i would consider getting one for ur eye color from each brand
i agree w/bluegirl!
earth tones are in this year.
pastels are nice.
best r silver n maulf
it depends on your eye and hair color, blonde and brown ';Purples and silver'; and ';browns';, red and brown best color would be ';browns';, and for dark hair dark eyes ';purples, browns blacks and Grey's.
Sex is everything
A slightly shimmery champagne works on most people. Curl your lashes %26amp; use black mascara for a look that is sexy, but men won't notice you're too made up.

Hi, can anyone give me vintage make-up ideas, e.g. eyeshadow. lipstick?
Pics would be good too. Its for my friends wedding, she is having a vintage themed wedding and i'm doing her make-up.
ThanksHi, can anyone give me vintage make-up ideas, e.g. eyeshadow. lipstick?
hi hun, you dont state exactly what era you are looking for but if it helps i am a 1940s re enactor and the look is.... matt foundation( not shiny) max factor pan stick is brilliant!red rouge, not too much just a little then powder over this with pressed powder.
no eyeshadow on the eyes, but lashings of black mascara and if you like a little black liquid eyeliner on the top lid only .this must be a sharp line, not blurred
finally, and most importantly no 1940s girl would be seen without her lipstick which must be BRIGHT RED!!!
to do this perfectly take your foundation over your lips then blot with a tissue, line the lips with a red liner and then colour the entire lips with the same liner, as if you are actually crayoning your lips. then put your red lipstick on over this, blot and reapply it. do NOT use any gloss, remember the look is matt not shiny. to see the perfect 1940s face look at pictures of dita von teese her make up is just right.make sure you carry a powder compact with you so you can reapply during the day.
hope this helps xxxHi, can anyone give me vintage make-up ideas, e.g. eyeshadow. lipstick?
Ask Me Makeup on Youtube has a lot of great tuts.
I really like the pink pinup makeup and I think it would be great for a wedding:

And then the classic pinup:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=neGIurzTRBI%26amp;f鈥?/a>
Good luck!
heavy black kohl eyeliner
blood red lipstick
pale foundation
eyelashes-many coats of mascara
Its best to look matt if your going for the vintage look. So prime or conceal any dark/red areas first. I would suggest using a matt foundation all over and if you can get any yellow power to just gently sweep over her face it wil really balance out complexion. You could then finish with a small amount of blusher on her cheekbones.
Personally i wouldn't use any eyeshadow, if so just a little of a natural pale colour.
Use some black eyeliner. Liquid would look better as you want a dramatic look. Personally i would do a straight thick line just on the top lid.
Use alot of mascara. Or fake lashes and black. These with the eyeliner will really open up her eyes.
You want to have bright red lippy. Use a lip base over her lips first, if not, foundation or concealer will do. Let it dry and use a lip liner as close to the colour of the lipstick as possible around the lip area. Always draw the line on the top lip upwards, rather then down, as it will make them look fuller. Just incase the liner doesn't match the lipstick, shade your lips in with the liner then apply the lippy.
She'll look gorgeous!
Pale, bone colored eyeshadow. Learn to apply liquid eyeliner with a slight cat flick. Blue-pink, or blue-red lipstick. Create a matte flawless complexion.
You may want to go softer with the lipstck for a wedding. Staying with the blue-pink. Try Mac's ';Snob'; lipstick.
And a gentle touch of blush of course.
definitely use bright red lipstick

Makeup ideas with this eyeshadow?
I just got this eyeshadow trio:
https://www.wegmans.com/prodimg/581/200/鈥?/a>
I tried it out and it was pretty, but what are some really pretty ideas that I could do with it?
I also got some of my regular pencil liner and liquid liner, so anybody have any ideas?Makeup ideas with this eyeshadow?
Put the lightest shade all over. Your eyelids. Then take the medium color and put it on the outside 2/3 of the lid. Put the dar color in the crease and the lightest one under your eyes brow. Make sure to blend them well.
Another idea is to put the medium or dark color on the lids, the dark in the crease and the light under the brow.Makeup ideas with this eyeshadow?
for a natural, simpler look:

or if you want a more dramatic look:

and might i add, you dont need to use as many colors as she uses, as long as you blend it enough.
and you can tone it down, add to it, morph it any way you want.
but these are great i think.
Use a flat shader brush (MAC 239) and gently pat on the middle color [kind of a moca?] onto your lid. Then take a pointed crease brush (like a MAC 224) and blend the darkest color through your crease, in windshield wiper motions. Use the lightest white color as a highlite. Meaning, flip the flat shader brush and using that side, gently pat on the white under your brow-bone above the dark brown in your crease.
You can use the pencil and liquid liner several ways.
For a natural everyday look, take the pencil liner and put it on your waterline (if you want to) and the liquid and make a thin line on your top lid.
Glam it up a bit: Make a dramatic wing on the end of the line on the top of your lash line and use the pencil for the waterline.
Smokey eyes: Thin line that increases height at the end of your lid with waterline lined with the pencil AND the pencil underneath smudged (finger, q-tip whatever).
Good luck I hope that helps!
Also, there may be some helpful youtube tutorials with this trio :)
For a simple look try the white under your brow bone as a highlighter as well as putting it in the inner corner of your eye. The pink all over your lid and then use the liquid liner just on the top lid going from thin (from the inner corner) to thicker (on the outer corner).
Another look you could use the white as a highlighter like above and the pink all over the lid, then apply the dark brown on the outside corner smudging it and then carefully smudge it along your lower lashes you create a pretty smoky look.

I have blonde hair and brown eyes and i dont know what king of eyeshadow to use any ideas?
i like to use a blend of dark brown and tan. i got a color pallet from cover girl with skin tones.. and i use it EVERY DAY. so put darker on the half closest to your nose and lighter on the half closest to your ear. and don't. forget. to. blend. it makes everything look better!!!! hope it helps :D I have blonde hair and brown eyes and i dont know what king of eyeshadow to use any ideas?
I'd try pinks, purples and golds. The tanner you are the darker shade you will need to go. Since you have blode hair, you should pair the shadow with brown mascara.I have blonde hair and brown eyes and i dont know what king of eyeshadow to use any ideas?
i think mixing would look good...like mayb put a dark brown liner on...then just a little bit of brown at the bottom of the eyelid then have a lighter color gold everywhere else...just stick with natural colors...or idf u want colors dont do a bright neon pink or blue...go with more softer paler colors
greeny blue colours
I would use light blue eyeshaodw (not shimmery) keep it simple and light and airy
i would use brown colors.
I think smokey eyes with blonde hair looks gorgeous. :]
Keep it real. Don't use green or purple eye shadow (ew!) Just use natural colors like brown, black, tan, and if you want color, buy some dark teal eye liner :)

Ideas on how to apply eyeshadow differently?
Right now, most of the time I just wear a nude-color eyeshadow, but i DO have other colors... what's different ways you can apply eyeshadow and different things you can do with different colors?
haha sorry for all the ';differents'; but i want different! =P lolIdeas on how to apply eyeshadow differently?
blend different colours over the lid, start by covering the whole lid with a paler colour, then use a darker colour from the middle and finally blend a darker colour into the lid from the outside of your eye
you can apply eyeshadow wet- this makes the colour darker and makes it more statement
you could blend the shadow up towards your eyebrows or try squaring it of for a different look
hope this is helpful :) xIdeas on how to apply eyeshadow differently?
hi, well you can add any color to your eye shadow. i wear a light blue with some brown over the top but to blend with the other color, also you can try the Goth look but to add some black over the top eyelid. kinda cake it on but not too over do it, and to add some eye liner to the bot-tom but to smudge it but not too much, and you can also try a sparkly blue! use a lil brush add some where your eye lid on the side!
than add a soft color to it looks great i use it all the time plus if you want it to be a lil neater use liquid eyeliner the stuffs great! well that's all i can say for now! bye
